Impact of Growth Mindset

As an elementary school teacher, having to encourage and push kids to think hard is part of the job. With teaching and enforcing the growth mindset this allows them to feel motivated or at least take a pause before the get to the negative effects.Most adults don't do this well regardless of their mindset. Being able to be a part and introduce a different mindset at a new age while their brains are still development is a perfect time to break down into simpler terms and have kids start to think in a more positive aspect before they react. For example, getting a bad grade can shut them down and think negatively about themselves.To change that they can think of what they did get right and have they can improve next time.
