In Action Research: Improving Schools and Empowering Educators, The 4 stages of Action Research are:

A. The Planning

B. The Action

C. The Development

D. The Reflection (Mertler 2020)

When action research is thought of in my head, it sounded like a bunch of tedious flipping through pages, or zooming in on a webpage to read tiny print. After reading , I realize I do action research daily just by reflecting or student progress or figuring out lesson plans that will further the learning experience for my students.

For this course, my action research question is

Can the use of ePortfolios in a blended environment positively impact student knowledge retention while having choice and authenticity?
