Four Disciplines of Execution

Time is of the essence.No matter what the career is we always seem to be in need of more time. In the field of education, there is always something new brought in wether its a new leadership, new initiatives, or even just new strategies a district is trying to implement.This is just another task added to the normal chaotic filled day of teaching. The job at hand becomes the whirlwind because of having to juggle yet another thing on top of our acquired tasks. Don't get me wrong teachers wouldn't be in their field if they didn't have a love for what they do, but it can all be overwhelming.WIG (widely important goal)is important to help narrow on one main goal to focus on that triumph other benign issues. For example, schools get their rating from state testing. So, in order to receive a good ranking, scores must be good. We want good scores for other reasons of course but good scores will help cover our bases in other areas as well.Having our WIG as good test scores will have a great impact.The model set up for 4dx helps drive programs from an overwhelming enviornment to a controlled enviorment with sets to accomplish the "wig".
