Learning Revolution

The saying "the more things change the more things stay the same..." is the reality of some educators meaning the more and more new stuff that gets introduced they arent willing to have an open mind to aloow change and innovation in their classrooms. We can all go to the reasoning of time sake. Yes, we are robbed of time with strict lesson plans that teach to the test. For the sake of our students we need to do better. We are responisble for the future and have be able to make use of our time we have with these children.No child is the same as another so we can't lkeep every experience the same regardless. If children arent allowed to be part of an authentic learning experience, they will never know anything more and will be subjected to do the minimum without expression.Though I have o children, I often like to ask myself,"Would I be happy if my child were getting the boring bare minimun learning experience?" This changes the perspective on those days where the wolrd feels like its crumbling in education land. We have to be better.
