In the classroom, I have feel that I have struggled to be able to create a significant learing enviornment, not that I don't try to, but due to the fact of how everything comes back to standardized testing and no time.As a first year teacher, I am in a constant stage of feeling like its not a good enough learning enviornment and I cut off all imagaination or authenticity of my indivdual students with no time to let them explore or veer from the lesson plans that are planned around the standardized tests.
Being a teacher, we have to create the context that children are engaged even through we are ribbing them of imagaination. So inorder to do that we have to make learning a game. We have to allow the students to take ownership and find tools they can use to help them solve the task at hand.
